I am creating a Wiki
Today I decided to build my own wiki on wetpaint.com. I plan to work on this for the remainder of the class. I want to see if I can create a page and maybe if I’m lucky I can get other people to help edit my wiki. I decided that I am going to write about Peekapoos. I recently got a puppy so this will allow me to learn more about my new puppy and share experiences. I did not find that there was already a wiki written on peekapoos. My wiki address is http://pekapoo.wetpaint.com. It is still under construction so I don’t have much on it.
I am still trying to learn about wetpaint. I am looking at other examples to get ideas. I found a wiki that talked about mixed breeds, http://yourdog.wetpaint.com/ and a site all about dogs, http://aboutdogs.wetpaint.com. I will keep everyone updated on the creation of my wiki.
That’s great that you are actually creating a wiki instead of just writing about it! I can’t believe there is not a wiki already on Peekapoos! I thought practically everything was on wikipedia! I guess you learn something new everyday! Just think… when someone is looking for a dog and searches on the internet, they could search your site in the future! Crazy!
Posted 2 years, 7 months agoWell actually I am creating my wiki on wetpaint.com. Wikipedia does already have a wiki on peekapoos. I want to make my wiki different than the one on wikipedia. We’ll see though. Hopefully users do find it informative and useful though.

One Wetpaint site you should check out besides the one you mentioned is http://www.wikifido.com. It’s one of the first sites launched using Wetpaint and it’s attracted lots of dog owners, information, and followers. I’m sure you’d be able to get some ideas from that site for your own.
